3. Rise and shine.

Sticking to healthy habits is a choice we make every day, and one of the healthiest choices we can make is to exercise first thing in the morning. Though a 5:30 a.m. wake-up call may make you cringe (at least at first), studies show people who exercise at the same time every morning—before the day’s demands pile up—are more likely to maintain a consistent routine. Morning exercise also jump-starts our metabolism, increases productivity and may even lead to better sleep.

With 15 Middle Tennessee locations opening as early as 5 a.m. every weekday, the Y is the perfect place to get a jump on your workout routine. So consider joining us bright and early.
