Teen Center


Teens! The Teen Center is for you! Think of it as a home away from home when you're not working out. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and fun space for our youth ages 12-17 to connect with their community peers and mentors. Drop by anytime, whether you want to play games, find a quiet place to read or relax, make music and art, grab fresh fruit, or simply hang out and make new friends. 

Additionally, join us for our monthly teen nights and special events!

Upcoming Events

  • Where: Alex LeVasseur Music Lab in the Brentwood Family YMCA

Each Monday, The Alex LeVasseur Memorial Fund hosts a group Music 101 class will give your student access to a variety of hands-on musical experience from learning guitar, drums, piano, to songwriting music business education or even production and beat making. Each class we will develop various musical expressions with a student-led approach based on what the students want to learn. We will go in depth with various instruments for the students who want to focus on building more specific skills.

"School's Out!" refers to any time Williamson County Schools are out for holidays or weather events. Hours are subject to change and are not applicable if the Brentwood YMCA is closed for inclement weather.

Brentwood Alex Levasseur Memorial Skatepark

Grab some wheels and roll with us at the Alex LeVasseur Memorial Skatepark, located here at the Brentwood Y! Our new, mellow street park offers a safe, fun-filled environment for skaters of all skill levels. Please note: skateboards and rollerblades only.

Hours

  • Monday-Friday: 12-7p.m.
  • Saturday-Sunday: 10a.m.-6:30p.m.

Learn to skateboard at the Brentwood Y! Build valuable skills, learn best practices and habits, and boost your confidence with instruction from our local professionals. Contact Chris Shaw at cshaw@ymcamidtn.org to schedule a consultation and visit the park. Pricing is as follows:

  • 1:1 Lessons for Members: $45 for one lesson, $160 for four lessons.
  • 2:1 Lessons for Members (Siblings): $60 for one lesson, $215 for four lessons.
  • 1:1 Lessons for Non-Members: $60 for one lesson, $215 for four lessons.
  • 2:1 Lessons for Non-Members (Siblings): $80 for one lesson, $290 for four lessons.

Yes, skatepark hours are subject to change. During harsh weather conditions, the park can close at a moment's notice until it is deemed safe to reopen. The park will close when...

  • The temperature drops below 32°F
  • The temperature rises above 100°F
  • There are wet, icy, or hazardous conditions
  • The Brentwood YMCA is closed for inclement weather.
