The YMCA is grateful for Delta’s sponsorship of our Y Race Series, enabling over 4,400 Middle Tennesseans the opportunity to bond with their families and overcome challenges. Proceeds from the races help to eliminate economic barriers so everyone in our community has access to the Y’s life-changing wellness programs and services. Whether learning to swim or attending after-school tutoring sessions, thousands of young people have benefitted from Delta’s partnership with the YMCA.

Google Fiber
Google Fiber is a leading enhancement partner for the YMCA, providing funding and resources to ensure students at the YMCA’s highest-need school sites have access to STEM education and related career fields. Providing hands-on activities focused on practical skills—like coding and building—and the values needed to achieve their fullest potential in any career, Google Fiber’s partnership has impacted over 640 students in Metro Nashville and Rutherford County elementary and middle schools through the YMCA’s Fun Company and Y-CAP programs.
On behalf of Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS), I want to thank Google Fiber for their generous support to the YMCA. STEM not only reinforces what is being learned during school, but provides space for kids to be exposed to growing career tracks, to develop resilience and confidence, and to foster positive collaborations with peers.
