Y-CAP YMCA, a Christ centered outreach program of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, serves at-risk youth in East Nashville one heart, one mind and one spirit at a time.
Y-CAP YMCA is not a work-out facility. It is a YMCA center dedicated to serving youth and teens through our four core programs; SmartKid's, Warren's House, Positive Beginnings and Kid's Church.
On Friday, Jan. 8, Y-CAP was blessed to be a part of the Garth Brooks Foundation's Teammates for Kid's Appreciation Party. It was a wonderful event! We were able to meet Garth Brooks and also many professional athletes that attended the event. Two of Y-CAP's students were recognized for the great success they have each had over the past year. Our Y-CAP Dance Crew also performed and was recognized for their amazing talent and hard work. We are so proud of all of our kids! Thank you to Garth Brooks and Teammates for Kid's for allowing us to be a part of their special event!
We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for this year's Y-CAP's Shining Stars Champions Luncheon! The Lord has truly blessed Y-CAP with outstanding students, staff and supporters!
