Pool InformationLap Lane Rules and Etiquette
Lap lanes are used for lap swimming, water jogging and instructional programs only. Lap lanes may be used by members of all ages as long as they are continually moving in the lanes. We ask that all members share the lanes with 2 people to a lane. If all lanes are full, it is courteous to ask a swimmer if they would mind sharing the lane before getting in to swim with them. There is a 30-minute time limit on using the lap pool when others are waiting.
Whirlpool
The whirlpool is 3'6" and is kept at 103 degrees. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the whirlpool at any time.
Pool Guidelines
- There is no running, diving, or rough play permitted in the pool area.
- Swimmers must go down all slides feet-first and facing up.
- Children may not go down the tunnel slides or be in the deep end of the pool if they cannot swim. Parents are not permitted to catch their children at the bottom of the tunnel slides.
- Children under 10 must be actively supervised by an adult 18 or older unless they have passed the swim test.
- Children between 7-9 that have passed the swim test can be in the pool area alone but a parent must be on the premises.
- Members under age 16 may not go into the whirlpool, steam room or sauna.
- Pool equipment such as dumbbells, kickboards, pull buoys, and flippers are for lap swimming, exercise or instructional use only.
