Youth Programs
KarateThis youth course of American Karate is designed for self-defense purposes emphasizing safety awareness and the YMCA core values of Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Caring. Classes are taught by Sensei Matt Stonerock.
Class and Cost Information:
Ages 4-5 years
Mondays 5-5:30pm & Saturdays 11-11:30am
YMCA members: $40 monthly
Non-members: $75 monthly
Ages 6-12 years
Mondays 5:30-6:15pm & Saturdays 11:45am-12:30pm
YMCA members: $45 monthly
Non-members: $75 monthly

Gymnastics
These classes put an emphasis upon tumbling, movement, and coordination. October session is October 1-22 and November session is October 29-November 19.

Home School PE
To help serve the homeschool community in East Nashville, the Maddox Y has a new Home School Physical Education program designed so the physical education component of the home school curriculum can be made. Ginny Schutz, a mom who provides homeschooling to her children, is teaching the class that is centered around fitness and learning the basics of various sports just as public school physical education does. Your kids will be sure to have a great time in this class!
Mondays and Wednesdays, 1-2:30PM
Cost: $50 monthly plus $10 for each additional child.
