Aerobic & Conditioning Classes
Aerobics and conditioning classes are FREE and available to facility members only ages 13 and up. Monthly class schedules are available online and at the Member Service desk. If you are new to a class, please let the instructor know before the class starts. Be sure to check out our water aerobic class offerings too!


Class Offerings
Cardio/Sculpt — This class begins with an extended warm-up incorporating choreographed floor combinations. The CV portion is done first to warm up the muscles appropriately that then leads into a more INTENSE version of weight training for women. The sculpting session will emphasize the integration of full body movements designed for muscular efficiency and overload. This class covers heart health, strength and endurance training, functional exercise and flexibility ... all-important components of a good fitness program. Class time: 60 min.
Genesis Step — A slower paced class teaching members to use the step platforms at varying heights to achieve balance and coordination. Many of the combinations taught will incorporate both floor movements and use of the step platform. Light strengthening and stretching exercises following the cardio segment. Class time: 60 min.
Interval Sculpt — An interval class that incorporates STEP and muscle toning for the total body. Mondays target quadriceps and hamstrings; Wednesdays — chest and back; Fridays — biceps, triceps and shoulders. Class time: 60 min.
Cardio Kickboxing — Low impact cardio challenge! Using boxing, kickboxing and other sports specific drills, this class will train your CV (cardiovascular) system to the max!
Power Yoga — Advanced yoga. Quicker pace and greater focus on strength training through focus on holds of positions and poses, while maintaining breathing and relaxation techniques.
Pilates — Focus on core strengthening leading into flexibility and longer leaner muscles. Increase in stamina due to constant movement and flow.
Step — The basic low impact, high intensity workout you are looking for using the adjustable platforms, followed by a short total body strength workout. This cardio class is appropriate for all levels. Lot's of modifications to suit your needs.
Beginner YOGA and YOGA — Relieve your tension and stress with the total mind/body wellness program. Yoga is a holistic program of exercise, breathing and relaxation techniques designed to improve or maintain quality of health. You will learn poses designed to quiet the body. Ideal for all fitness levels. Class time: 60 min.
YOGA & Relaxation — The same great benefits of our other YOGA class with additional time spent to help you relax at the end of a long day. Benefits include reducing stress and promoting a feeling of wellness. Class time: 90 min.
Stretch & Strength — A very basic and beginner class for our Older Active Adults who want to keep themselves strong and flexible for every day functional activities. Members will come away with a better knowledge of how the body works when resistance is applied through light strength training and gain a new appreciation of their own body's abilities.
Strength & Tone — All sculpting, all toning for the entire body in one hour.
Fitness level: Beginner to Advanced.
