Members simply need to sign up for class times at the Wellness Center at least 24 hours in advance to be assured a space. The weekday early morning classes are the most popular and fill up quickly.

Express Cardio Cafe

The Express Cardio Cafe is open during center hours, with staff on hand weekdays, 8 a.m.- 1:30 pm and 4-7 p.m.

Techno Gym Hydraulic Strength

Relationships begin here! This is a great starting point for anyone who feels unsure of working out at a gym. There are no mirrors, and staff members are ready to assist in any way. The area is open to members 14 and older and staffed each weekday, 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. Children 6 and up may only be present during hours when staff members are present.

Locker Rooms

We have four locker rooms: a women's, a men's and two family locker families (one for each gender). Our women's and men's facilities are for members 18 and up; children 7 and under must use the appropriate family locker room. At age 8, children must go with the same-gender parent to the appropriate locker room.
Amenities in the women's and men's locker rooms include hair dryers, ironing boards and a swim suit water extractor. The family facilities offer changing stalls, hair dryers and changing tables. There are eight showers in each locker room.

No lockers are for rent. Members must bring their own locks and take personal items when they leave. There are 50 lockers per locker room.

Sauna

Our sauna is located on the pool deck, accessible by all locker rooms. Members 18 and up are welcome to use the sauna. There is no stated time limit, though users should be aware of heat-related health risks at all times.

Pools

Our indoor pool is 25 yards in length and ranges in depth from 3 1/2-10 feet. At least one lane is designated for lap swimming at all times. Our outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day and is 25 meters long with a depth of 3 1/2-10 feet.

Children 7 and under must be actively supervised by an adult at all times when using the pool. Pool users must abide by the posted pool rules and YMCA's swim test policy for younger swimmers.

Gymnasium

Our gym is open for pickup basketball, as well as our youth wellness programs and open play. The environment is competitive during cross-court play.

Indoor Track

The indoor track is located above the gym, accessible by a staircase. One mile equals 20 laps. Members are welcome to walk or run on this track with elevated sides/curves to enhance the track experience.

Sports Fields

We have seven outdoor soccer fields where we host outdoor youth and adult soccer leagues, flag football and some baseball practices and games. The space is reserved for program use only to keep the fields in the best condition possible. We divide the fields by age to avoid confusion on game day and during practices.

Y-Play

More than just a safe place to look after your children while you work out, our Y-Play service offers children ages 6 weeks to 6 years the chance to get the most out of their own visit to the Y through playing, learning and staying physically active.

Children in our Y-Play area are separated by age in two rooms and are offered a fun array of age-appropriate activities for amusement while parents enjoy their workouts. There are games, crafts, story times, kid gym play times and more. We also offer fee-based enrichment programs in Y-Play for an additional cost. Visit the Welcome Center for a list of current offerings and prices.

Additional Information

Children may stay at Y-Play for up to two hours per day and a maximum of nine hours per week.

Parents/guardians are the only adults authorized to leave a child with Y-Play, and are required to remain on-site at the Y during their child's visit. Only the parent or guardian who signs a child into Y-Play may sign them out or pick them up.

Youth Activity Center

The Youth Activity Center offers supervised play and interaction for kids ages 7-10. They can participate in arts and crafts, homework time, outdoor play, science experiments and exercise programs.

Our schedule reflects Metro Nashville's school calendar and open/closed schedule.

Parents must sign their children in and out of the Youth Activity Center. Children may not stay longer than two hours per day and 10 hours total per week.
