Indoor Pool

Our indoor pool is open year-round. We designate two swim lanes at all times and add an additional lane as demand warrants. The pool, maintained at 86 degrees, is 25 yards long, five lanes wide and 4.5 feet deep. Swim lessons, swim team practices, water aerobics and free swim are common pool activities.

Members must abide by pool rules and the YMCA's swim test policy for younger swimmers.

Outdoor Pool

Our outdoor pool is open from Memorial to Labor Day each year. The L-shaped pool offers zero entry, a frog slide for small children and two large slides for able swimmers. This facility may be used for splash bases and birthday celebrations.

During the summer, free lunches are served at noon to all children 18 and under. The pool pavilion seats 60 people comfortably.

Members must abide by pool rules and the stated swim test policy.

Gymnasium

The 6,000-square-foot gym is home to youth basketball and adult pickup basketball games, volleyball and special events. The area is kid-friendly. Though refurbished to modern standards, this facility has been in operation since 1941.

Indoor Track

The naturally lit indoor track is open to all ages, including children under 12 (must be supervised by an adult). It is accessed by a stairway off the main hallway or via a special needs elevator (key required). One mile equals 17 or 21 laps depending on the position of the lane used. Note: Boot camp classes make use of this track during cold weather months.

Outdoor Track

Located on a hill behind the building, the outdoor track offers great natural views for running or walking. The trail is compacted with rock and passes a cave, stream and a historic hillside used by the Union Army during the Civil War. All ages are welcome to use this course. Children should be supervised at all times.
