Locker Rooms
We offer five locker rooms—two each for men and women and one option for families and members with special needs. Each men's and women's locker room offers around 30 lockers (none in the family locker room), three showers and private changing stalls with latching doors. Hair dryers are available for use. Be sure to remember to bring your own lock and towel.
Children up to age 7 are allowed in the family locker room with a parent or guardian of the opposite gender.
Sauna, Steam Room & Whirlpool
We offer a sauna, steam room and whirlpool, each located in the back corner of the pool area. For each of these amenities, members are asked to respect a 30-minute time limit for use. No children 12 or under are allowed; all other policies for use are posted on-site.
Indoor Pools
We offer two pools indoors, one for swimming laps, and the other for therapy. The lap pool is 25 yards in length and ranges in depth from zero entry to 10 feet. It's maintained at 85 degrees. The therapy pool is 3-5-feet-deep and always at a warm 89 degrees.
The lap pool offers three lap lanes, shared at all times with circle swim. Two slides, including a frog slide on the zero entry side and another at the deeper end.
All pool rules and policies are posted on site for quick review.
Gymnasium
Our gym is frequently in use for basketball and Ultimate Fitness activities. There is no formal schedule for this kid-friendly, competitive space.
Indoor Track
The indoor track is accessed by the stairs in the hallway close to the pool. Nineteen-and-one-half laps around the track equals one mile. The track is always open to all members; children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Users should always respect the rules of the track (posted on site).
Chapel
Located in the back hallway across from a women's locker room, our Chapel is always open for members and our staff to pause for prayer, reflection and Bible study. If the door is locked, the space is already in use. Bibles and devotional books are on hand for your personal use.
Y-Play
More than just a safe place to look after your children while you work out, our Y-Play service offers children ages 6 months to 5 years the chance to get the most out of their own visit to the Y through playing, learning and staying physically active.
Children are separated by age groups in rooms staffed with Y personnel: ages 6 weeks to 2.5 years in our nursery area; ages 2.5-5 years in our kid's gym area.
Additional information
Children may stay at Y-Play for up to two hours per day and a maximum of nine hours per week.
Parents/guardians are the only adults authorized to leave a child with Y-Play, and are required to remain on-site at the Y during their child's visit. Only the parent or guardian who signs a child into Y-Play may sign them out or pick them up.
Youth Activity Center
The Youth Activity Center is for ages 5-12 (5-year-olds can choose to play here or in Y-Play). Activities include arts and crafts, Ping-Pong, Foosball, Dance Dance Revolution on the Wii, Rock Wall, as well as outdoor playtime on the playground and blacktop (weather permitting).
All children must be signed in by a parent. Each child receives a numbered wrist band. Numbers are recorded on the sign-in sheet. A child must be picked up by the same parent who dropped them off.
NOTE: The Clarksville YMCA offers licensed childcare on site at 10 elementary schools in the area through the YMCA Fun Company program.
