Senior Strength Class
This specially designed class offers exercises to develop balance, strength, flexibility and range of motion for the senior. There has never been a better time to start "pumping iron." You won't believe how good this form of exercise can make you feel. Check the Group Fitness schedule. The class meets Mon, Wed, and Fri at 2 pm in the upstairs Group Fitness Room.

Game Day
Have fun with board and card games and munchies. 11am on the 2nd Thursday of every month.

SilverSneakers® Fitness Program

The SilverSneakers® Fitness Program is a program for seniors started in which participants in HealthSpring, and selected Humana and AARP insurance programs, are offered memberships.

The Green Hills Family YMCA is offering a SilverSneakers® I Exercise Class focusing on muscular strength and range of movement. In these equipment based classes, members will have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair may be used for seated exercise and/or standing with support. Check the latest Group Fitness schedule for locations and times for the SilverSneakers® exercise classes. The SilverSneakers classes are open to all of our members, not just SilverSneakers members!
