The YMCA of Middle Tennessee is anot-for-profit, charitable, community-based organization committed to helping people grow in spirit, mind and body, regardless of financial circumstances. The Y will never turn anyone away due to an inability to pay, and it depends on the generosity of members and friends to make this possible. The donations you make enable us to continue to help your community experience the life-changing programs of the YMCA.

Baptist Healing Trust Awards Grant to Restore Ministries
Baptist Healing Trust has awarded a 2008 grant which will fund the continued expansion of the Restore Ministries program. Restore will enroll 1,000 in the program, with no less than 60% successfully completing the group program as indicated by the completion of the pre- and post-tests. Fifty YMCA staff and volunteer facilitators will be additionally recruited with no less than 45 completing the "Journey to Freedom" facilitator program. These individuals will then be prepared to present the curriculum in 2008/2009 and beyond. This will create an ongoing network of facilitators for the "Journey to Freedom" curriculum.
