SilverSneakers® Fitness ProgramThe Brentwood Family YMCA is proud to offer all of the fitness programs that SilverSneakers® has developed for the Active Older Adult. These include the basic MSROM, Cardio Circuit, Yoga Stretch and Silver Splash. Please see the schedule listed below for dates and times.

Senior Aerobic Group Training

Senior Social Events
Luncheons are the second Thursday of every month in Studio B. YMCA will provide the main dish; everyone else brings a side dish or dessert to share. Sign up at the Welcome Center.
Bingo is held the last Thursday of every month at 10am — prizes are given away — try your luck! We will play upstairs in the Leadership Hall.
Thursday, August 21st at 9:30 we will conduct a coffee lecture with the topic of 'balance'. Snacks will be served. Location is upstairs in the Teen Center.
Thursday, August 28th at 10:00. Please join us for BINGO in the Leadership Hall. Its a great time, hope to see you there.
Thursday, September 4th at 9:00 upstairs in the Teen Center make plans to join us for another great coffee lecture. Snacks will be served.
Thursday, September 11that 12:00 join us for lunch. We are serving grilled hamburgers. Bring your favorite baked bean recipe or salad or dessert.
NEW!!! Jewelry Making Classes. Begins Monday September 15th and last for 8 weeks. Cost is $90.00 members and program members $100.00. Don't miss this chance to create something beautiful.
Thursday, September 25th at 10:00 is BINGO!! We have such a good time and everybody wins a prize. Come try out our favorite snack; yogurt with blueberries and granola!
Friday, September 12th from 9:00-1:00 in our gym we are having a HEATHLY LIFESTYLES FAIR.
Tuesday, October 14th from 10:00-3:00 is Active Older Adults day at Camp Widgi. Join us from group exercise classes, canoeing, lunch, bingo, cards and much, much more.
BIG BAND DANCE IS NOVEMBER 1ST FROM 5 PM TO 8 PM. Everybody looks forward to this fantastic party.

Silver Stars
Silver Stars is open to singers, musicians and dancers. Solos, duos and groups welcome! First-round auditions will take place at Cadillac Ranch in downtown Nashville on Saturday, August 23, 2008. For further details, visit www.hssilverstars.com. The YMCA of Middle Tennessee is the official co-sponsor for the event, which has enabled HealthSpring to offer such a rewarding opportunity. In addition to the $7,500 grand prize money, ten finalists will also receive a one-year YMCA membership.
