YMCAs closing early due to icy conditions

Due to today's icy and snowy weather conditions, several YMCA centers have been forced to close or operated under limited hours and class schedules. Most YMCA centers also plan to close at 4 p.m. today to ensure members and staff will not be driving home in icy conditions after dark. Read More

Fun Co. Operating on Inclement Weather Schedule

YMCA Fun Co. in Williamson and Sumner counties will be closed on Monday, March 3, due to winter weather conditions that have closed schools in those areas. Davidson County and other counties with weather-related school closures will be operating on their Inclement Weather Schedule. Read More

YMCA of Middle Tennessee Names New President and CEO

The YMCA of Middle Tennessee Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Dan Dummermuth has been named President and CEO of the mid-state association of YMCAs, which includes 20 family wellness centers, six community outreach centers and one of the region’s largest day-and resident-camp facilities. Dummermuth will succeed former CEO Journey Johnson, who retired in December after a 35-year Y career. Read More

Bellevue YMCA Status Update

The Bellevue Family YMCA and FiftyForward J.L. Turner Center will re-open at 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7. Group exercise classes will be limited Friday evening, so members should call ahead to confirm whether a class is being offered. Regular class schedules will resume Saturday. Read More
